      EnCore in Harrisburg, PA

      The EnCore Lecture Series is coming to Harrisburg, Pennslyvania! Alumni, families and friends of the university are invited to attend “Thomas More and the Challenge of Integrity," a presentation by Professor of English Gerard Wegemer, Ph.D. The event will be held in the State Capitol Building and features an optional tour of the Governor’s Reception Room and historical panels.  Event Schedule 4:00 p.m.:  Tour of Governor’s Reception Room and panels depicting the history of religious liberty in England                        by artist Violet Oakley. Tour will be led by Jason Wilson, Chief Historian, Capitol                                                      Preservation Committee. Participants should meet in the main rotunda of the capitol building.  5:00 p.m.:  Reception, drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Hosted by Rep. Paul Schemel, BA ’94 MBA '96, and                                    Lucy Schemel, BA ’94 MA '96. Reception will be held on the second floor atrium of the                                            Speaker Matthew Ryan Building. 5:45 p.m.:  Lecture and discussion presented by Gerard Wegemer, Ph.D. Lecture wil be in Hearing Room 205 in                    the Speaker Matthew Ryan Building, hearing room 205 6:30 p.m.: Guests welcome to visit and mingle EnCore is the latest series of events for UD alumni, families and friends around the U.S. University of Dallas faculty share their knowledge and expertise on relevant topics of today while reflecting on the UD Core curriculum.
