Fall Vata Ayurveda @ The Healing Habitat

Ayurveda translates to “the science of life/longevity”. It is an ancient, intuitive wellness system that teaches us to pay attention to the connection that we have with the world around us.  As the long hot days of summer shift into the cooler shorter days of fall, our minds and bodies shift as well. Fall and early winter are described as “vata season”, ruled by the elements of air and ether. Due to the seasonal shifts, our wellness routines require different activities, food and self-care to support balanced health. After a grounding Yoga and Breath practice, we will move to discussion. Uncover the early warning signs of imbalance that are typical during the fall season. Leave with a few fall recipes and a clear plan to support your health through the busy holiday season. Please bring your yoga mat and a pen/journal for note taking. My Mission Statement I am an intuitive and knowledgable yoga teacher and ayurvedic wellness coach who believes that consistent small steps lead to a healthy mind, body and spirit. I challenge individuals and groups to dream big. I empower others on a path of self discovery as a natural approach to feeling their best. I inspire balanced, intuitive wellness. My Passions I have had a lifelong love of healthy living and cultural exploration. I have been practicing yoga for almost 20 years, and my mat is where I feel most at home.  I believe that a rich life is full of experiences rather than objects. I love to explore the world by backpack, making meaningful personal connections along the way.  Ayurveda (the science of life and longevity) is a process of self discovery. It teaches us to support health and happiness through our connection to nature.
